16-year fugitive apprehended by Ramban police

Ramban, May 31: On Wednesday, Ramban Police apprehended a wanted man who had been on the run for 16 years.

According to police, Ghulam Mohiuddin, a resident of Sumbal Bala Tehsil Kangan, District Ganderbal, was wanted for violating sections 188, 420, and 471 of the Pakistan Penal Code and has been on the run for the last sixteen years after being charged in case FIR No. 12 of 2007 at Police Station Banihal.

According to reports, the culprits were apprehended in the Gund region of Kangan by a special police squad formed by Senior Superintendent of Police, Ramban, Mohita Sharma and led by Inspector Mohammad Afzal Wani. The police have said that he will be brought before a judge for a decision.
