Jammu: On Wednesday, the government ordered that two Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Service (JKAS) officers be moved and given new jobs right away.
According to an order from the General Administration Department (GAD), Mantasha Binti Rashid, JKAS, Secretary of the Srinagar Development Authority, has been moved to fill an open position as Deputy Director of Tourism in Kashmir.
Ishtaq Ahmad Bhat, who worked for the JKAS and was waiting for orders of change at the office of the Deputy Commissioner in Ganderbal, has been moved and put in charge of the Srinagar Development Authority as Secretary.
In a separate GAD order, the government put the services of three Junior Scale officers of the Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Service (JKAS) at the disposal of the Information Department for their future posts.
Akanksha Kalsotra was an Under Secretary in the J&K Academy of Art, Culture, and Languages. Iftakhar Ahmed was waiting for orders of correction, and Monika Sambyal was an Under Secretary in the Government Information Technology Department.
