A 14-year-old’s suicide attempt in Sgr was thwarted.

On Tuesday, a 14-year-old kid attempted suicide by setting himself on fire, reportedly because of problems in his love relationships.

The police report that the boy’s health is stable after he was brought to the hospital for treatment.

It was reported that a 14-year-old boy from the Rakh colony of Noorbagh had attempted suicide by setting himself on fire. Respectable members of the community rushed him to SMHS. He suffers slight burns but is otherwise stable. The police in Srinagar tweeted that a safakadal PS had taken “cognizance.”(KNO)
