A corpse pulled from the Jhelum in Srinagar that has not been recognised

On Tuesday, a corpse pulled from the river Jhelum in the Athwajan region of the Srinagar district in central Kashmir was not able to be positively identified.

An official said that the corpse was discovered floating in the river Jhelum, and shortly after that, a police squad hurried to the location to investigate the discovery.

“The identification of the body was being ascertained,” he continued to say.

A dead corpse was discovered earlier in the day in the Bagh-e-Mehtab neighbourhood of Srinagar, which is located near the Doodhganga canal.
