A departing police in Shopian received a heartfelt farewell

A retirement party was held for a police officer in Shopian on July 4 to send him out in style after he had served the department for many years. SI Abdul Hameed was accorded a heartfelt farewell by everyone of the police department upon reaching retirement age. The Shopian Police Department threw him a retirement celebration.

DySP DAR DPL Shopian, Imtiyaz Ahmad, spoke at the event, shedding light on the departed officer’s term and praising his supervisory abilities, professionalism, human nature, and decision making in the face of adversity. The officer’s hard effort and commitment to his job were much appreciated. He wished him well and a long, happy retirement.
