A driver is killed when an oil truck falls into a canyon near Ramban

According to authorities, an oil tanker driver perished when his truck plunged into a steep canyon near Shaitani Nallah in the Banihal region of Ramban district on Monday morning.

According to an official, the oil tanker tumbled down and into a steep valley near Shaitani Nallah.

He said that the driver perished shortly after a rescue mission was initiated.

Ajay Kumar, son of Thoru Ram of Akhnoor, has been identified as the dead.

Meanwhile, the incident has been reported to police.
