A landslide has struck the Sgr-Jmu motorway near Ramban, however traffic is unaffected

Ramban, July 3: A landslide struck the Jammu Srinagar national highway this morning in the Kunfer Chanderkote region of Ramban district.

Officials said that the slide impacted one tube or lane of the roadway as traffic was going through another two-lane tube of the highway. “The traffic was flowing smoothly through the two-lane road,” they added.

Iftiqar Ahmad, DSP traffic NHW, Ramban, said that restoration work on the damaged road at Kunfer has begun and would be completed within the next several hours.
