A man’s body was discovered in Rajouri Woods.

On Saturday, a man’s body was retrieved from a woodland region in Rajouri district.
According to official authorities, the guy went to get wood from surrounding woodlands but did not return. Following that, authorities were notified, and a squad of officers retrieved the corpse from Ghai Forest.

The dead has been identified as Zafar Iqbal, son of Mureed Hussain Mughal of Rajouri’s Ghambir Mughlan Hattan Seri region.

A police officer confirmed to GNS that inquest procedures under Section 174/CrPC had been commenced. He said that the deceased was sent to Sub District Hospital Manjakote in Rajouri for a postmortem and that the body will be returned following medico-legal procedures. (GNS)
