A mother of two was killed in a car accident in Sgr. when she was struck by a vehicle

On Thursday night in Srinagar, a vehicle accident claimed the life of a mother of two young children.

The family of Akifa Imtiyaz said that she was killed when a vehicle from the force collided with her Scooty.

The family informed Kashmir News Trust that the Scooty was struck by a vehicle, perhaps from the CRPF, near Abdullah Bridge in Raj Bagh in Srinagar.

However, Kashmir Scroll, citing an official news source, reported that a lady on a scooty was struck and killed by an SSB vehicle.

Akifa Imtiya, who was riding as a passenger, was instantly killed. The deceased’s son, a resident of Chapanpora Srinagar, was the Scooty’s driver.

The police have taken the event seriously and opened an investigation.
