A teen was stabbed in north Kashmir and taken to the hospital

Official sources say that another boy stabbed a 16-year-old boy in the Villgam area of the Kupwara district in north Kashmir. The boy was hurt.

They said that two boys got into a fight this afternoon while taking a bath in Nallah Kehmil in Villgam. During the fight, Areez Ahmad Ahangar, 16, son of Javed Ahmad of Mirpora Trehgam, stabbed Saqib Ashraf, 16, son of Mohammad Ashraf of Dingree Trehgam, with a sharp object, hurting him.

They said, “The boy who was hurt was taken right away to SDH Kupwara for treatment. His overall condition is said to be stable.”

A police officer said that this was true and that they had opened a case to look into it further.
