“We shared the joy of the Umrah pilgrim and her family, and the joy doubles for all of our medical staff,” the Makkah Health Cluster stated in a statement. Both the Ajyad Emergency Hospital and the Al-Haram Hospital and Emergency Centres are eager to use all of their available resources to ensure that visitors and pilgrims to the Grand Mosque have access to the quality medical treatment they need.

The Makkah Health Cluster has verified that all Haram hospitals and emergency centres are fully operational and ready to provide the highest quality medical treatment to pilgrims. Over the course of 2022, Ajyad Emergency Hospital’s emergency room cared for over 42,000 patients, including tourists, Umrah pilgrims, and locals.
