A woman has passed away after receiving an electric shock in the hamlet of Bandipora

On Monday, an electric shock caused the death of a lady who was 35 years old in the hamlet of Kema located in the district of Bandipora in north Kashmir.

The lady, known as Jozy Begum of Kema, is alleged to have come into touch with a live wire at her apartment, which resulted in her sustaining serious injuries. This information was provided by an official.

According to him, she was taken straight to the district hospital in Bandipora, where the medical staff pronounced her dead as soon as they saw her.
