“The media has played a critical role in informing the public about the constitutional and political changes that have resulted in the era of peace and development in J&K.” “I salute the media for their role with great respect,” Dr. Andrabi stated. She said that as soon as the fear and repression atmosphere in J&K faded as a result of the Prime Minister’s brave actions, the media came out in favour of the restoration of peace and disseminated the genuine tales of Kashmir’s growth to the world. She complimented the media for its historical role during the G20 international summit in Srinagar, which spread our wonderful tales throughout the globe. “Media is the fourth pillar of our democracy, and we need to strengthen genuine media platforms even more.” Keeping in mind the long-pending desire of the South Kashmir press fraternity, we have decided to offer a plot of land for the Press Club in Anantnag,” said Dr Darakhshan Andrabi.
