Jammu, 2 June: Last night, a terrorist was killed in a short encounter with security personnel in the forest region of Dassal Gujran in Rajouri district, authorities said.
‘So far, the body of one insurgent has been recovered,” said a defence ministry spokeswoman located in Jammu, according to GNS.
In a previous statement, the Indian Army claimed that during a combined operation with the JKP, an intelligence-based ambush observed a suspicious activity in the woodland region of Dassal Gujran near Rajouri on the night of June 01/02, 2023.
It was said that when the forces were confronted, they were shot at, which was reacted upon. According to the report, sporadic shooting occurred throughout the night.
“Search operations were launched at first light by a joint team of the Indian Army and the JKP,” the statement stated.
