Chairman DDC Srinagar, Director NIT Srinagar call on Lt Governor

Srinagar’s District Development Council Chairman Aftab Malik paid a visit to Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha at Raj Bhawan on May 24.

The DDC Chairman handed the Lt. Governor a memorandum detailing needs for various development projects. The Lieutenant Governor gave him his word that his legitimate complaints would be heard and addressed.

Dr. Sudhakar Yedla, the director of the National Institute of Technology (NIT) in Srinagar, recently met with the Lt. Governor to discuss, among other things, the allocation of land for a new campus and the development of student infrastructure.

The Lt. Governor guaranteed his full support to the Director NIT in his efforts to improve students’ education and well-being.
