Srinagar The Chewaklan region of the Pulwama district in south Kashmir saw heavy gunfire on March 11.

In the Chewaklan neighbourhood of Pulwama, an encounter has begun. The police and security personnel are on the scene. A police spokesperson has remarked, “Further details shall follow.”

Security troops had just sealed off the area after receiving information that terrorists were hiding there when the fight began.
