On Monday, hundreds of members of the military participated in a long range area dominance patrol in Rajouri.
Police lines were the endpoint of a patrol that began at Gujjar Mandi and made its way through the Main Bus Stand and other places before returning to the District Police Lines in Rajouri.
In addition to officers from the Central Armed Paramilitary Forces, the patrol was led by the Senior Superintendent of Police in Rajouri, Amritpal Singh. Also participating were the Deputy Superintendent of Police at Headquarter Mudassir Hussain, the Deputy Superintendent of Police in the Police Control Area (PC) Shivendra Singh, the Deputy Superintendent of Police in the District Administration Region (DAR) Parupkar Singh, and the Assistant District Officer Mohammad Latif. The officers also spoke with shopkeepers and locals in Rajouri’s commercial district.
