Sopore, 24 June 2023: The Police Party of Police Station Tarzoo, led by the SHO of Police Station Tarzoo, detained three drug peddlers at Sangrama Chowk, continuing the station’s battle against narcotics traffickers. Abdul Latief Gojar, son of Noor Muhammad Gojar, native of Gandoo Tehsil and District Doda, is the drug dealer who was apprehended.

Three Shabnam Begum, daughter of Muhammad Akbar Khan, resident of Akherwani Wulutra, Rafiabad.
Two of the three were headed in the direction of Amargarh, while the third was acting suspiciously and travelling in the other way; the patrolling group saw them and they attempted to leave, but the vigilant police caught them and the nylon bag they were carrying.
A Heroin-like substance was discovered during the search, leading to their prompt arrest and the filing of a complaint at Tarzoo Police Station under the applicable provisions of law.
If anybody in the vicinity has any knowledge on drug dealers, they are encouraged to speak out. Anyone caught selling drugs will face severe consequences.
Members of the community may rest assured that we are making concerted efforts to rid our society of the drug threat because of our continuous measures against drug peddlers.
