The company has identified Kashmir as a key market for home and institutional security and will spend the next several years expanding their dealer network there.

At the occasion, Godrej Security Solutions’s Business Head, Pushkar Gokhale, discussed the company’s ambitions to increase spending on R&D in the years ahead.

The requirement for security in all sectors has increased dramatically during the last several years. According to him, “Jammu & Kashmir has been one of our strongest emerging markets for institutional security with equal focus from both public sector undertakings (PSU’s) and private sector, witnessing positive GDP growth in the recent years.” This is because “as technology continuously evolves, we find it important to constantly innovate and offer wholistic security solutions, not just for the end consumer at home, but for various private and public sector industries.”

Our primary goal is to expand our network of channel partners and ASPs across the state so that we can reach out to previously untapped market groups. We are optimistic that this cutting-edge product will help the brand effectively lead and play a vital part in the development of Jammu & Kashmir’s burgeoning industries,” Gokhale added.

Gokhale added that his company is extending its CCTV product offerings in the security market because of the rising popularity of surveillance cameras in Jammu and Kashmir over the last few years.

The first-ever autocross competition in Jammu and Kashmir, hosted by the J-K Motorsports Federation, will shortly take place in Srinagar, and this cutting-edge technology will be prominently shown on the racetracks.
