Srinagar 24 April :- A head of holly festival of Eid-ul-Fitar, Helping Hands (Jammu & Kashmir) distributed ration , Medicines and Eid kits among 28 needy families in Srinagar and Budgam District on Eid-al-Fitr. The trust distributes ration kits, medicines and Eid packs among these 28 families contains 10 KG Atta, 10 KG Rice, 10 KG Mustard Oil, 2 KG Ghee, Salt, 5KG Tea, Eid bakery and other daily need food items. The material was distributed among the needy family by the Chairman of the trust Mr. Aaqib Parray and senior member of the trust Mr. Mir Kawsar .Helping Hands (Jammu & Kashmir) also provides the medicines worth thousands of rupees every year among the needy peoples who had no or less source of income.
Moreover , Our motive is to serve the society in every possible way. Parray said there are N number of families who are waiting for help but , unfortunately we don’t have that number of social workers in our society, who can reach there.So everyone should come-out and try to find out some deserving families who really need our assistance. There are almost 10 families to whom we are providing monthly Ration and medicines from last several years he added.
As all we know “CHARITY BEGINS FROM HOME” we should start it from ourselves so we can reach more and more people. Parray said charity can do anyone and everyone but it’s our responsibility to find out the deserving one and then verify them, as verification is mandatory process when it comes to the word “SERVING OR SOCIAL WORK”. This money belongs to public donation and we as social workers are wholly responsible for their donations, so it must be spent on deserving families or people.
Chairman appeals to public to come forward and donate for this noble cause and support us to reach more people .
