The European Space Agency (ESA) will mark the 20th anniversary of its Mars Express mission with a “live” feed on June 2 that will show images from the probe about every 50 seconds.

However, the feed will not be really live since data may take anywhere from 3 to 22 minutes to reach from Mars to Earth. This implies that each picture on the live broadcast is depicting something several minutes before you see it. The live feed is available below. It will begin on Friday, June 2 at 9:15 p.m. IST.
The Mars Express mission was launched on June 2, 2004 and is scheduled to arrive on the red planet in December 2023. It has since provided scientists with magnificent 3D pictures of our cosmic neighbour. The mission assisted scientists in developing the most comprehensive picture of the chemical makeup of the atmosphere.
It also aided in the detailed study of Mars’ innermost moon Phobos and tracked the history of water around the planet, allowing scientists to prove that Mars formerly had climatic conditions conducive to life.
