On the orders of the district administration, all of the government and private schools in the Ramban district that provide classes up to the tenth grade stayed closed on Monday as a result of the severe rainfall that occurred over the weekend.

According to official sources, the severe monsoon rains have caused all of the schools in the Ramban district to stay closed up to the tenth grade. This was done to ensure the children’s safety.

Because of the persistent rain, Deputy Commissioner Ramban noted that both public and private schools were closed. Despite this, instructors continued to be present in the classrooms of their individual institutions.

The district received a significant amount of rain on Monday morning, which caused the water level in all of the streams and nullahs in the area to increase. In addition, there was a halt in the circulation of vehicles across the region.
