Unknown people stabbed and hurt two brothers and sisters in the Kulgam area of south Kashmir.
A member of the pair’s family said that on Thursday night, the brother and sister were attacked with a knife in the Karewa Kulgam area. The two were hurt and taken to the nearby hospital.
He said that the two people were attacked because they had a disagreement with their friends in the south Kashmir area about their property. “But on Thursday night, they called some people they didn’t know, and they attacked the two with a knife,” a family member said.
The brother, whose name is Owais Tantray, hurt his back (near his left shoulder), while the sister, whose name is Momina Tantray, hurt her shoulder.
“After being treated at a nearby hospital, the two have been sent to Anantnag’s GMC,” their father, Abdul Rashid Tantray, said.
He also said that a group of police officers went to the scene after the family went to the nearest police station to file a report.
