According to a press release, the Venkateswara Swamy Vaari Temple is currently undergoing a week-long Maha Samprokshana ritual, which includes Punyhavchana, Agni Prathista, Kumbhasthapana, Kumbaaradhana, Visheshta Homam, Harathi, and Prasadam distribution and will culminate in the temple’s opening on June 8. Rana went to the temple and spoke with the organisers.

Responding to media inquiries, Devender Rana expressed the expectation that these would further promote pilgrim tourism in the Jammu area, which has enormous potential to flourish with state-of-the-art infrastructure.
