This viaduct, which was constructed at a cost of Rs 140 Crore, can be seen on the portion of NH-44 that runs between Udhampur and Ramban.

Srinagar, July 3: The completion of the building of a 1.08-kilometre-long, two-lane viaduct in the Ramban area of Jammu and Kashmir is a noteworthy event that has taken place. It is anticipated that this bridge, which was constructed at a cost of Rs 140 Crore and is located on the part of NH-44 that runs between Udhampur and Ramban, would help ease congestion in Ramban Bazar while also ensuring smoother vehicle circulation.
Across its 26 spans, the building of the viaduct required the use of a variety of structural configurations, including concrete and steel girders. During the annual Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra, which takes place on National Highway 44 between Jammu and Srinagar, this contemporary infrastructure will not only make the flow of traffic more fluid, but it will also make the journey more convenient for pilgrims.
In addition, another two-lane viaduct that runs parallel to the structure that has already been built is almost finished and will soon be available for use by the general public. Connectivity and the efficiency of transportation in the area will both be improved further as a result of this new infrastructure development.
Manoj Sinha, the Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, has thanked Narendra Modi, the Prime Minister, and Nitin Gadkari, the Union Minister for Road Transport and Roads, for their exceptional contributions to the development of roads and road infrastructure in Jammu and Kashmir. Sinha has attributed Modi to being the driving force behind Jammu and Kashmir’s progress.
