Jugnoo and Novo taxi offices in Srinagar have been closed

After it was discovered that Jugnoo Cabs and Novo Cabs were operating in Srinagar without the required registration, the city’s transport administration reportedly locked their premises.

Kashmir’s Regional Transport Officer (RTO) Syed Shahnawaz Bukhari stated, “We have sealed two taxi services, Jugnoo and Novo, since they are presently operating without a licence. We were ordered by the court to terminate service for these two taxi companies, and we have done so.

In Srinagar, you may use either Jugnoo or Novo, two different app-based ride-hailing services. Users might request a ride using a mobile app that would put them in touch with drivers in their area.
