KCCI is worried about the frequent and unexpected power outages in Kashmir

Srinagar, June 13: The Kashmir Chamber of Commerce and Industry has been watching the steadily worsening electric power supply to homes, businesses, and factories with growing alarm. According to a statement, the unreliable power supply, which includes frequent failures and unexpected shutdowns, is having an intolerable impact on all aspects of public life. In regards to the current annoying power supply system, the Chief Engineer cannot be reached since he is too evasive. Industrial, business, trade, and tourist enterprises are facing unexplainable losses in addition to mental anguish as a consequence of frequent interruptions in power supply, which also negatively affect homes.
Therefore, the KCI would like to ask the government to carefully consider the issue and the problems it causes and to take steps to correct the system so that all sectors of society have access to constant, reliable electricity.
