He ordered the district administration and other government agencies to collaborate on a comprehensive project study for the Bhawan’s development.

Sinha inspected the progress made in preparing for the Kheer Bhawani Mela and gave orders to the responsible parties to ensure that the pilgrims attending the event have all they need.

He gave orders to make sure the Kheer Bhawani Mela had all it needed in terms of infrastructure, supplies, and medical care.

The LG was first greeted by the Pandit community of Kashmir, who gave him a Pheran as a symbol of their customary greeting.

He engaged the locals in conversation about problems facing the area.

Sinha issued a directive to the Divisional Commissioner of Kashmir to appoint a Nodal Officer whose job it would be to field and handle complaints from locals.

The LG was joined by Nuzhat Ishfaq, chair of the District Development Council (DDC) in Ganderbal, and Arun Kumar Mehta, chief secretary.
