Srinagar, June 25: Today, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha met with important members of PRIs, civil society organisations, trade, business, and spiritual leaders to talk about getting ready for Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra and making plans for it.

The Lt. Governor asked the most important people in the country to get everyone involved in the 62-day celebration, which started on July 1.

The Lt. Governor said, “We all have one goal, one idea, one conscience, and we are all committed to one message of peace, brotherhood, progress, and prosperity for J&K.”

People who follow Baba Amarnath Ji have always been accepted by society, and their wants have always been met. He also said that this is a great example of how people can live together in peace.

“These are our old values, our Sanskar, and I’ve seen them come out in the work that the whole community has done in the last three years to help J&K UT reach new levels of success. The Lt. Governor said, “We are ready to welcome pilgrims and hope that when they go back to their home states, they will spread the word about J&K.”

The Lt. Governor talked about how important it is for civil society groups, political leaders, faith leaders, and all other parties to work together to bring peace, progress, and wealth to the people.

“Let’s all walk together, let’s all think and decide the same way, and let’s all work together for the good of society with one mind and a sense of oneness,” he said.

Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra helps people on a social, economic, and spiritual level. The Lt. Governor also said that people get to talk about new ideas and changes when they are led by smart people in society.

Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra is important to every person who lives in J&K UT. He also said that all ideas and opinions are welcome to make the journey more special for the people who go.

The meeting also talked about plans for the upcoming Eid-ul-Adha holiday and the celebration of Sri Guru Hargobind Sahib Ji’s Prakash Parv. The Lt. Governor told the important citizens that recently, a review was done district by district to check on plans for Eid and make sure everything is set up.

Junaid Azim Mattu, Mayor of SMC; Darakhshan Andrabi, Chairperson of J&K Waqf Board; DDC Chairpersons, members of civil society, representatives of different organisations, religious heads, and community leaders all gave helpful suggestions and promised to work with the government to make sure Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra goes smoothly and peacefully.

In response to the needs and concerns that were brought up during the meeting, the Lt. Governor promised that the right steps would be taken to meet the people’s needs for growth.
