Leh, June 15: Top military leaders who are stationed along the Line of Actual Control in Eastern Ladakh are talking about how to make the area even more ready.

The meeting takes place on the third anniversary of the fight in the Galwan Valley, in which India lost 20 soldiers and caused a lot of damage to the Chinese Army. The Northern Army is there. “Commander Lt Gen Upendra Dwivedi, 14 Corps Commander Lt Gen Rashim Bali, and One Strike Corps Commander Lt Gen Sanjay Mitra, along with other formations, were deployed there,” Army sources said here.

At the meeting, they will talk about how ready the force is in the area that borders China.

The Northern Army Command is in charge of the Ladakh region and has been given a new group called the One Strike Corps. The One Strike Corps is based in Mathura, but its parts are all over the Northern parts of the country.

After the Chinese attack in April and May 2020 along the eastern Ladakh region, the government and troops reorganised the army.

Since 2020, more than 50,000 Chinese troops have been stationed along the LAC across from Eastern Ladakh.

India has also put up a lot of new forces in the area to stop any future moves by the Chinese that could be seen as aggressive.

Infrastructure building in the area has also been sped up, and at the Umling La Pass in eastern Ladakh, the world’s highest motorable road has been made.

The road has made it easier to get to places where Indian and Chinese troops have been stationed across from each other for the past three years.
