Anantnag, Jun 22 ,The results of the test for the tenth class were announced on Monday, and two deaf and mute orphan brothers from the Hussanpora Bagh region of Bijbehara in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district have completed the examination with flying colours.

Both Mohammad Ahsan and Bisma Jan, students of the Zaiba Appa Institute of Inclusive Education in Bijbehara, have scored in the top three hundred and sixty one and three hundred and eighty nine points, respectively. The younger sibling took responsibility for his or her younger siblings after the death of both parents around ten years ago.

Ahsaan and Bisma expressed their gratitude to Javed Ahmad Tak, a recipient of the Padma Shri award, via a sign language that was introduced to them by their instructor. Javed Ahmad Tak is the founder of this institution, which is providing education to hundreds of pupils with special needs.

They recommended that persons who have impairments should never give up hope and instead pursue their aspirations with all of their heart. They made the statement that “they too can lead a successful and cheerful life.”

The siblings, on the other hand, were of the opinion that in order for the children with special needs to be able to “lead an independent life,” there should be separate schools and universities.

While we were chatting to him, his brother Owais Ahmad revealed that he went through a lot of suffering, particularly during the time when both Ahsaan and Bisma were attending elementary school.

He said, “I make my living as a labourer, and I will pull out all the stops to ensure that they continue their education so that they can acquire valuable skills and not be dependent on anyone for the rest of their lives.”
