Yasin Malik’s death penalty petition: The Supreme Court issues a notice and production warrants
An official stated on Saturday that Pakistan has freed 200 Indian fishermen who had been handed over to BSF officials at the Joint Check Post at the Attari-Wagah border crossing.

According to the official, all of the fisherman entered India at 1 a.m. through the land transit route of the Attari-Wagah border, using a ‘Emergency Travel Certificate’ granted by the Indian High Commission in Islamabad.

The fishermen were apprehended after their boats reportedly crossed into Pakistan via Arabian Sea territorial waters.

Following their return, the fishermen were examined by a team of Indian medics, according to the official.

According to the official, the fisherman bowed and worshipped the earth the minute they set foot on Indian soil.

According to authorities, fishermen are routinely caught and their boats taken by both India and Pakistan since the maritime boundary in the Arabian Sea is loosely defined and many fishing vessels lack the ability to determine their exact positions.
