May 27th, Ahmedabad: External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar said on Saturday that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has encouraged his ministers to concentrate about the next 25 years rather than the next year or term.

According to Jaishankar, the administration is considering a “era of a generation” today. On Saturday, he spoke at the ‘Modi’s India: Rising Power’ conference in Ahmedabad.

“The Prime Minister urged us to think differently. He didn’t ask us to think about the next year, decade, or term. He invited us to consider the next 25 years. And I say this because the next 25 years will be set by you all. “We are actually thinking about a generation or more,” Jaishankar added.

“We must bring our personality, culture, and heritage to the international stage.” So when Prime Minister Modi encouraged the globe to celebrate the practise of yoga, he wasn’t simply supporting a cultural or physical activity. “When he pushes AYUSH during Covid wellness practises from India, it is today something bigger that is happening.” How do we explain our beliefs and practises to the rest of the world? How can they gain a feel of what India is all about? What are Indians about, what is their background, and what is their culture? What is the system’s DNA? Because it is when a nation is perceived as growing,” Jaishankar remarked, speaking about raising knowledge of India’s cultural history.

He compared PM Modi’s India to a designer attempting to “shape the world.”

“Think of (PM) Modi’s India as a designer, and think of rising as a design process, because what we’re trying to do in international relations today is shape the world.” We’re attempting to revamp it since we already have a design that we’ve inherited through the years. “Part of it is a design process, and part of it is an architectural exercise,” he continued.
