Police in Kupwara, in north Kashmir, have reported the deaths of five foreign terrorists

16 June, Srinagar: On Friday, police in the Kupwara area of north Kashmir said that they had killed five militants.

The ADGP of Kashmir tweeted that an encounter in Kupwara resulted in the deaths of five foreign terrorists.

According to him, authorities are still conducting searches in the region.

Kupwara police have received information that an encounter is underway in the Jumagund region along the Line of Control in the district of Kupwara. Earlier, the Kashmir Zone Police stated that they will be providing further information.

Two terrorists were killed on June 13 in the Kupwara district’s border region during a combined operation between the Army and the Jammu and Kashmir Police.
