Srinagar, June 17: A little earthquake, the seventh in the previous week, was felt in the Ramban area of Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday afternoon.

The official time of the 3.0 on the Richter scale earthquake was found to be 2:03 PM. According to GNS, the epicentre of the quake, which occurred at a depth of 5 km, was in the city of Ramban.

However, there were no reports of damage right away.

Chenab valley has had seven earthquakes in the last five days, and this newest tremor brings that total to seven. Doda and Kishtwar were hit hard by a 5.4 magnitude earthquake on Tuesday, devastating homes, schools, and hospitals.
