In answer to a question about Omar Abdullah’s claim that the BJP is afraid of going to the polls, Raina said that the ECI, not any party head or the Prime Minister, is the only one who can decide about elections.

“Omar Abdullah knows very well that the Election Commission of India, not any party head or the Prime Minister, makes decisions about elections. We want the ECI to decide, and the BJP is ready for state elections in,” he said.
