Sgr airport adds three extra x-ray machines for luggage screening

Srinagar International Airport has added three extra x-ray machines for baggage screening in an effort to shorten processing time at the drop gate.

“3 additional X-Ray Machines along with associated infrastructure for baggage frisking have been inducted at Srinagar Airport’s Drop Gate,” Javed Ahmad, Director Airport, said in a statement.

“We now have ten No X-Ray Machines, which will aid in the rapid clearance of baggage and passenger vehicles,” he said.

The flow of cars in lineups before the drop gate will be quicker as a result, and the processing time will be significantly reduced, he added.

“The Airport Authority of India wishes our esteemed passengers a pleasant and friendly arrival at Srinagar Airport,” the message said.
