Shivpora suffers from a lack of water

Srinagar, July 3: For more than a week, residents of the Shivpora neighbourhood have been suffering from a severe lack of potable water.

A local delegation said that people must travel great distances to get bottled water due to a lack of reliable municipal water service. For the last week, we’ve been desperate for access to potable water. It’s quite difficult to go long distances to get water in this extreme heat. We urge Chief Engineer Jal Shakti to investigate this problem on our behalf,” they said.
