On Eid-ul-Azha days in Jammu and Kashmir, the weather authority forecasted early morning and late evening rains on Wednesday.

A meteorological department official here informed GNS that a short bout of rain/thundershower was anticipated in scattered areas of Jammu and Kashmir within the next 24 hours.

“Partly cloudy weather is expected from June 29 to 30.” Rain is forecast in the early morning and evening,” he stated, adding, “The same weather is expected from July 1-5.”

In terms of temperature, he said that Srinagar recorded a low of 17.8°C, compared to 19.4°C the night before.

He reported a low of 17.0°C at Qazigund, compared to 17.0°C the night before.

Pahalgam, he claimed, had a low of 12.4°C, compared to 13.0°C the night before in the popular tourist destination in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district.

According to him, the mercury settled at 17.2°C in Kupwara town, compared to 17.5°C the previous night, and it was 2.1°C above usual for the north Kashmir region.

According to authorities, Kokernag had a low of 15.8°C compared to 16.0°C the previous night, which was 0.7°C above usual for the location.

He claimed Gulmarg recorded a low of 12.4°C, compared to 11.5°C the previous night at the world-famous skiing resort in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.

He claimed Jammu recorded a low of 26.6°C, compared to 25.1°C the previous night in J-K’s winter capital.
Banihal had a low of 19.9°C, Batote had 18.5°C, Katra had 23.6°, and Bhaderwah had 17.8°.
