On Monday, June 19, the Vice Chancellor of Sher e Kashmir Agricultural University of Jammu, Dr. SK Gupta, travelled to Rajouri to visit the Krishi Vigyaan Kendra. While there, he presided over the 13th Scientific Advisory Committee meeting.
Everyone who worked in a district office for one of the line departments was there for the meeting. In addition to the district administrator, progressive farmers were also in attendance at the meeting with SKUAST Jammu VC, Prof. Gupta, who also inaugurated a 15-day training workshop on INM for fertiliser dealers.
During an interaction with trainees in the INM course, the Vice Chancellor gave them the advice that they should educate themselves on all of the fundamentals of using fertilisers in a variety of crops.
There was an in-depth conversation conducted for the purpose of finalising the action plan, particularly on the subject of farm experiments.
Along with other district heads, Chief Agriculture Officer Rajouri Sohan Singh and DSHO Dr. P. P. Sajotra contributed their insightful comments and recommendations.
