Sports activities for senior citizens held at Budgam

The District Youth Services and Sports Department (DYSS) of Budgam hosted a number of sporting events today in honour of Senior Citizens Sports Week (Sports for Seniors).

Towards this end, Zone Chadoora hosted competitions in Gulli Danda, hopscotch, carrom, cricket, and table tennis for the elderly people of Repora, Chadoora, and Surasyar.

Sixty-eight seniors from Zone Chadoora took part in the activities with tremendous zeal.

There have been 272 elderly people who have engaged in various district-wide sports programmes.
