On Tuesday, May 23, the G20 Tourism Working Group (TWG) conference continued in Srinagar for its scheduled two days.
Srinagar’s Sher-i-Kashmir International Conference Centre (SKICC) is the site of the gatherings on May 22nd through the 24th. The people of Kashmir are excited about the G20 summit sessions because they would help the economy and tourism in the region. The delegates will most likely take trips to Srinagar’s many tourist attractions.

The delegates will be doing numerous sessions at SKICC today. Nishat Garden, Cheshma Shahi, Pari Mahal, Kashmir Arts Emporium, and Polo View Market are just few of the places the delegates will visit throughout the day. There will also be a formal supper.

Despite boycotts from China and Pakistan, the first day of the G20 tourism summit started on Monday, as reported by Taiwan News.

India is having meetings all around the nation in preparation for the G20 Summit, which will be held in New Delhi in September.

Sheikh-ul-Alam International Airport in Srinagar welcomed the G20 delegates as the massive event got underway. According to Nikkei Asia, they were welcomed with rows of lamp posts lit in the colours of the Indian national flag and billboards showcasing the G20 emblem.

According to Nikkei Asia, the authorities in Kashmir are overjoyed about the region’s potential participation in India’s G20 presidency. The walls around the roadways have been painted a cheery peach and white, and new footpaths have been paved. The transformation is part of a smart city initiative now being implemented in Srinagar.

Amitabh Kant, India’s representative to the G20, stated on Monday that the region of Kashmir is ideal for filming.

Numerous films will be filmed in this area. In the same way that a growing number of Indian films are now being filmed in other countries. Kashmir, India is, however, the best location anyplace in the world to make a movie and to shoot a romance; I have travelled much and can say this with great sincerity.

In Srinagar, during the third meeting of the G20 Tourism Working Group (TWG), Amitabh Kant made the following statement.

Kashmir is under a three-tiered security grid for overhead surveillance drone monitoring during the three-day G20 Summit, which takes place from May 22-24. The venue has been surrounded by National Security Guard (NSG) and MARCOS (Marine Commandos) troops. The Special Operations Group (SOG) of the Jammu and Kashmir Police have been stationed in various locations to provide security and deter terrorist attacks.
