Teenager found dead in his Budgam flat

On Monday, May 15th, authorities in the Budgam district of central Kashmir discovered a 20-year-old male hanging in his house in the Chadoora region.

According to the news outlet Kashmir News Observer (KNO), citing an official source, a young man from Sogam who was living in Zoloowa Chadoora at the time of his discovery had committed suicide by hanging himself.

He said that when he arrived at the Chadoora sub district hospital, the doctors pronounced him dead.

After all medical and legal procedures are completed, he added, the corpse would be returned to the family for burial.

The official said that more investigations had been initiated.
