On Monday, July 10th, a guy from the Shopian area of South Kashmir’s Shopian district drowned in the nallah Kumdalan region.
The guy, named Javaid Ahmad Son of Ab Gani Naikoo, a resident of Kumdalan Shopian, was reportedly quoted by the news agency Kashmir Scroll as saying that he left his house in the wee hours of the morning and slid down into Nallah in Shopian. He was taken to the hospital in an evacuation, where he was pronounced dead. Meanwhile, further research is being conducted.
