The landslide-damaged Mughal Road has been reopened to motorists

Officials said that the landslip that had blocked the Mughal route between the districts of Shopian and Rajouri and Poonch in the Kashmir Valley had been cleared away.

DTI Mughal Road Shoket Amin Khan informed GNS that the area had been cleansed of landslip debris and that vehicle movement has been resumed.

Officials said that a landslip had blocked the road at Ratta Chamb in this hilly area. They said that immediately after the incident, workers and machines were sent to the scene to clean the road.
