Srinagar, June 25: Officials have reported that all of the Amarnath Yatra trails have been properly lit for the convenience of pilgrims. During the excitement of Yatra preparations, it was reported that the path from Kalimata to the Holy Cave and from Dumail to Sangam had been lit up. There have been “all preparations put in place to ensure a smooth and safe transition,” as tweeted by the Divisional Commissioner of Kashmir.
The 62-day journey begins on July 1 and travels via Anantnag and Ganderbal.
“The Government of Jammu and Kashmir is committed to ensuring a safe and comfortable pilgrimage for Yatris,” the state’s communications agency stated.
