Police at the Residency Road Police Post in Jammu, India, have made an unsolved death at a hotel on July 10th seem suspicious.
The victim, 28-year-old Shavinder Shukla of Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, has been named. According to the police, hotel personnel reported a strange death of a guest in one of the rooms.
There was a guy who had died under odd circumstances, and we went there to investigate. The police said that they had moved his remains to the GMC Jammu’s mortuary chamber in preparation for an autopsy and other legal procedures.
The police said he was a tourist with a group of buddies. According to the police, “the cause of his death is yet to be ascertained as we are waiting for a postmortem report,” and they have said that further investigation is underway.
