However, he did not rule out the possibility of light showers or thunderstorms, especially in the evening, any time throughout the following four days.

Only 10-20% of the time will there be a display and storms in the evening, he claimed.

Lotus further noted that significant precipitation in Jammu and Kashmir is not expected till June 12.

However, he did say that there is a chance of warmer days ahead, thus the highest temperatures in J&K will rise gradually.

With a high of 28 degrees Celsius in Srinagar and a high of 27.8 degrees Celsius in Qazigund, today is going to be a hot one anywhere you go.

The low temperature was recorded at 24.5 degrees Celsius in Pahalgam, while it was 26.6 degrees Celsius in Kupwara, 26.2 degrees in Kokernag, and 18.2 degrees in Gulmarg.

Since the middle of May, the weather in Jammu and Kashmir has been unpredictable, with showers lashing the Union Territory on most days, particularly in the late afternoon, and lowering the temperature down for over 15 days.

However, starting on June 5th, the weather improved, the maximum temperature rose, and the people were relieved of the adverse weather that had caused such massive losses to the agricultural sector.
