Two government teachers in Pulwama were suspended today (May 20) for working at a private coaching institution.
The Chief Education Officer reportedly issued an order that states, “Pursuant to regular online/offline complaints and as reported by the designated monitoring teams, two teaching personals were found involved in private coaching at SCI Pulwama on May-18 contrary to the service rules and repeated directions from the department to desist from the practise.” A copy of this order can be found at the Kashmir News Observer (KNO).
They are thus suspended immediately awaiting investigation. However, they must notify the respective institutions listed against each for additional responsibilities. It’s a read.
One suspended teacher at GHS Rajpora has been told to go to HS Doodimargh Lurgam, while another at HS Singhoo Narbal has been told to report to GUPS Shadimarg.
