On Saturday night, police in Jammu City said that they had broken up another sex racket and detained four people, two of whom were from Kashmir.
A team of Jammu Kashmir police searched the home of a lady named Renu Gupta after receiving information that she was operating a prostitution racket in the Nawabad district of Jammu, according to a police officer.
They are all in custody now, the police stated.
The four convicts were first detained after refusing to let police officers access the residence via the locked gate.
The official named the men as Pahalgam natives Liyakat Ali and Mohammed Sharief of the Ananatnag area.
The relevant police case number is 88/2023, and it was filed at the Nawabad police station.
In April, five individuals were arrested for running a prostitution racket out of a hotel close to Jewel Chowk Jammu. While searching the home of a local lady in Bhawani Nagar, Nawabad, Jammu, two Kashmiri males were discovered engaging in sexual misconduct with two women.
